love from seattle

we had a lovely time hosting tae's childhood friend, alex (a post here of when he last visited us), and his fiance, kelli, over the holidays. alex is from ny and kelli is from minnesota, they now live together in seattle and soon moving to minnesota, where they'll be wed. lots of moving around! every time we speak to alex, he's living in a new city. the ones i mentioned above are only a few of the many different places. can't keep up! anyhow, soon after he proposed, he called tae and asked him to be the best man (alex was tae's best man at our wedding. sweet**). so we'll be heading over to minnesota later this year to celebrate with them. we all wanted to meet each other before the wedding and i'm so glad we did. luke warmed up to them really fast! good times spent getting to know each other (kelli is a triathlete!), figuring out where minnesota was (??) and laughing together, mostly while hearing stories about alex as tae reenacted scenes from their past (oh how some things change and how some things never change!). after they got back to seattle, they sent us a box of these goodies. chocolate and coffee, an adorable seattle tee for luke and a handwritten card, i love!!! see you two soon :)
